Thursday – Sunday, August 27 – 30

This Thursday through Sunday, August 27 – 30, take 25% off appliances with orange and blue tags, including dishwashers, ranges and cooktops, refrigerators, microwaves, stove hoods, wall ovens, washing machines, and dryers.  The discount includes both modern and vintage items and we offer a 3-week return policy on most Forklift appliances. We also offer 5 days of free storage for most bulky items to give you time to arrange for transportation, if needed.

Community Forklift is committed to staying open as a resource providing free and low-cost essential home repair materials to the community. We are taking all precautions recommended by the CDC and are paying close attention to the situation. Please stay home if you are sick or at a high risk of getting very sick (learn what to do if you are sick here). Please maintain a six-foot distance from other people when shopping in the warehouse. Under MD Executive Order, all Marylanders over the age of five are required to wear face coverings in the public spaces of all businesses across the state, including Community Forklift. Help keep our community safe by wearing a mask that covers your mouth and nose.

Please note our warehouse hours: Monday – Sunday, 12 – 5 pm. You can also shop online and choose low-contact pickup through the Community Forklift Marketplace!

Community Forklift provides free home repair supplies and other household essentials to people with low incomes through our Home Essentials Program. If you or someone you know needs appliances or other items but will have difficulty paying for them, please take a look!

Please note: discount does not include appliances from our ALCO consignment partner, water heaters, window air conditioners, other heating and cooling equipment, items listed in our eBay or Chairish stores, or select specialty items. Items with missing or damaged price tags will not be sold. Discount may not be combined with other offers.

Every time you donate or shop at Community Forklift, you’re helping us lift up local communities through reuse. We turn the construction waste stream into a resource stream for communities in the DC region – by keeping perfectly good items out of the landfill, preserving historical materials, providing low-cost building supplies, and creating local green jobs.
