In 2025, Community Forklift commemorates 20 years as a local resource for secondhand home and building materials! Join us for our fun events, celebrate the reuse community that you’ve helped build, and reflect on our nonprofit’s impact as we plan for the future.
Warehouse Scavenger Hunt
March 22, 2025: 10am–5pm, live music 12–3pm

What better way to explore Community Forklift’s new store layout than with a scavenger hunt? The hunt is on during regular store hours and we’ll have live metal banjo music by Jacob Panic on Saturday, March 22, from 12 – 3 pm. Stop by the front desk for your scavenger hunt details and return when you’ve finished for a chance to win a prize!

Green thumbs! Flower Fanatics! Outdoor Aficionados! Visit our reuse warehouse during regular store hours Friday–Sunday, April 11–13, for deals on garden tools, pots, décor, and more. We’ll be releasing fresh batches of garden supplies each day to restock as items sell. As you ponder your spring garden tasks, see what materials you can buy reused and save money while helping us reduce landfill waste and conserve natural resources!
We’ll be hosting a seed giveaway and plant swap on Friday, April 11. Bring your seeds, seedlings, cuttings, and plants (indoor and outdoor plants are welcome) to exchange with others. If you are new to plants or don’t have anything to trade, no problem! Check out our table near the front desk for fun stuff to swap, gift, or receive.
