Reuse Warehouse

Our 40,000 sq. ft. self-serve reuse warehouse carries building materials from every era, as well as modern and vintage tools, hardware, lumber, appliances, furniture, lighting, and more. Materials come and go every day, so visit any day of the week to see what’s currently available!

Community Forklift is a Washington, DC-area reuse nonprofit that keeps usable building materials, furniture, and home essentials out of the landfill. We accept donations of new and vintage supplies and provide them for free to households with limited means and other nonprofits, or sell them at below-market prices to the community. Visit our Store Policies page to learn about our return policy, pet policy, and what to expect from a visit to the warehouse!
