Check out the beautiful teal paint job on this awesome headboard! Created by upcycling a vintage door, it adds a great bit of color and personality to this Forklift Fan’s bedroom.

This awesome garden planter box was fashioned out of a cabinet and wooden posts from Community Forklift. From scrap to salad!

Check out this trellis created with wrought iron pieces from Community Forklift! This one was made with fence and railing panels, but you could also make one out of salvaged doors.

A creative Forklift Fan used a plant stand and salvaged cabinet door from Community Forklift to create this sleek and modern bar cart! A 1×4 for the top tray sides, plexiglass for the bottom shelf, and some spray paint helped complete the transformation.

A vinegar bath and some cleaning did wonders for this $1 vintage hardware from Community Forklift! The new owner liked them so much, she came back to the warehouse and bought more. They look great on the vintage cabinets in her 1941 home!

Every time you donate or shop at Community Forklift, you’re helping us lift up local communities through reuse.  We turn the construction waste stream into a resource stream for communities in the DC region – by keeping perfectly good items out of the landfill, preserving historical materials, providing low-cost building supplies, and creating local green jobs.
