Sara donated her car to Community Forklift!
Community Forklift accepts donations of all kinds of vehicles and when Sara no longer needed her car (lovingly named Stanley), she donated him to our reuse nonprofit.
“Stanley was my first car,” Sara said. “I’m so happy to have given him away to a place that genuinely cares about their donations, community, and world we all live in.”
Community Forklift partners with NCS vehicle donations to process these types of gifts. The vehicles can be in running or non-running condition, but they must be worth more than the cost of the tow to be accepted. The funds Community Forklift received through Sara’s donation of her 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt were equivalent to providing about 3 to 4 free appliances to households in need.
