This Tardis Free Library is wild! I love the creative use of salvaged bifold doors from Community Forklift for the core and the lights are just fantastic. Doctor Who would approve! Now you know where to find a good sci-fi book.

Check out these shelves created with salvaged wood from the Community Forklift reuse warehouse! The warm wood works beautifully with the metal brackets and white walls. Factor in the greenery, sunlight, and dog and you have a great corner for reading, relaxing, or pretty much anything! Thanks for choosing reuse!

Check out this awesome kitchen update using salvaged floor and backsplash tile from Community Forklift! The painted cabinets look awesome too. Thanks for supporting our reuse warehouse!

Check out this awesome lighting project that uses salvaged fixtures from Community Forklift! The three pendant lights look great combined into one fixture with that wooden base. Thanks to a reuse fan for rescuing these materials from the landfill by upcycling them in their home!

The reuse warehouse is full of materials that you can use to spiff up your space. We still have a bunch of these unique keyhole frames in both silver and gold. What would you paint in them? Check out our blog for the story of this frame’s upcycling!

Every time you donate or shop at Community Forklift, you’re helping us lift up local communities through reuse.  We turn the construction waste stream into a resource stream for communities in the DC region – by keeping perfectly good items out of the landfill, preserving historical materials, providing low-cost building supplies, and creating local green jobs.
