The Community Forklift raffle has ended. Thank you to everyone who participated!

Community Forklift works hard to divert usable materials from the landfill and redistribute them to the community. Our reuse nonprofit supports a circular economy while disrupting our current norm of disposal and throwaway culture. In many ways, reuse is a vital part of the waste and recycling system as it reduces environmental and climate impacts and benefits local communities.

Every time you donate or shop at Community Forklift, you’re helping us lift up local communities through reuse.  We turn the construction waste stream into a resource stream for communities in the DC region – by keeping perfectly good items out of the landfill, preserving historical materials, providing low-cost building supplies, and creating local green jobs.
