Visit our reuse warehouse
Our 40,000 sq. ft. self-serve reuse warehouse carries building materials from every era, as well as modern and vintage tools, hardware, lumber, appliances, furniture, lighting, and more. Materials come and go every day, so visit any day of the week to see what’s currently available! Our reuse warehouse hours are Monday – Friday, 12–5pm, and Saturday & Sunday, 10am–5pm.
Shop in the community Forklift Marketplace
We’ve listed a selection of the lighting and other materials in our reuse warehouse online in our Community Forklift Marketplace. The lighting discount begins online at noon June 2 and ends at 5 pm June 9. Shop online any time of the day and pick up at the warehouse within 5 days!
Shop online in our eBay store
Check our eBay store for 40% off discounts on lighting not available at the reuse warehouse or in the Community Forklift Marketplace. Search hundreds of listings for new and gently used lighting, tools, fixtures, hardware, and more. Items are available for shipping or in-store pickup.
Please note: discount does not include light parts or electrical supplies in the reuse warehouse, select specialty items, items in our eBay store, or items from our consignment partners. Items with missing or damaged price tags will not be sold. May not be combined with other discounts or promotions.
Every time you donate or shop at Community Forklift, you’re helping us lift up local communities through reuse. We turn the construction waste stream into a resource stream for communities in the DC region – by keeping perfectly good items out of the landfill, preserving historical materials, providing low-cost building supplies, and creating local green jobs.
